I agree - this latest “brinksmanship” - if that’s even the word for it - is COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY INSANE !!
And yes, good question: WHO is actually behind it???
I was born in 1947 and have lived all my life under the threat of nuclear war or nuclear accidents. Seemed we did have a long period where the insane arms war has lessened - there were nuclear treaties etc. - but as most who are paying attention know - that after the Fall of the Wall - and “the fall” of the Soviet Union - we no longer had the “enemy” we needed... to keep the Military Industrial Complex $$$$$$ alive.
Soooo we had to jack up new reasons to “hate Russia and all things Russian” despite their no longer posing a threat.
We needed and enemy!!! Always have!
AND...most importantly, we made a promise at that time - 1989/1990? - that NATO would NOT move eastward or encroach upon Russias borders.
And THEN - what did we do - broke our promise and pushed and pushed all the way to Ukraine - the last straw for Putin.
He’s been incredible restrained considering ours and NATO’s insanity.
And for those who don’t know there WAS a peace deal in early 2022 that was in the works just 2 months after Putins invasion of Ukraine - but guess who didn’t want it? The USA and NATO.😖🤑😖
This horrific senseless war has NEVER been about “protecting democracy” in Ukraine!! It’s all about keeping the War Machine $$$$$$$ going.

It is my most fervent prayer 🙏 that inspire of all of our insane instigations and reckless actions, that by a miracle, Putin will continue to use restraint until Trump is in office and can call a halt to the insanity!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
